Our team of trained Property Managers have numerous years of experience in the industry. Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer of Maritime, our managers provide weekly site visits to the property, participate in the day to day management of the buildings, they are responsible for and assist the superintendents, administrators and property accountants with assuring all work and financial information is completed in a timely efficient manner.
Our administrators provide clerical support for the business, including preparation of correspondence, meeting packages, responding to general inquiries and assisting the managers and property accountants where possible.
Detailed financial statements are provided by our property accountants for all properties, they also assure timely invoice payments and bank deposits. All statements are reviewed with the property manager prior to presentation. Annually they prepare the financial information to go to “audit”, and are the liaison with the Auditors on behalf of Maritime.
Renovations and Maintenance
Maritime also has a staff that can compete minor repairs such as drywall, painting, etc, provide cleaning services for those properties that do not have cleaning staff and can respond after hours until a qualified licensed contractor is available.
We also have staff that provide carpentry and repair / renovations to other management companies, our associate company and to individual home owners, for items such as decks, siding, painting, kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, flooring installation (tile, hardwood and laminate) etc.
Secure Property Management
Recently acquired by Maritime, Secure Property Management Ltd, is a well established management company which specializes in single family homes, condominiums and duplexes. Secure has over 25 years in the business and with this recent addition to Maritime we are now able to provide management for virtually all types of properties.
